Why Ram?

Full-size pickups make up the majority of the RAM lineup. They include the half-ton RAM 1500, the three-quarter-ton RAM 2500, and the one-ton RAM 3500, along with even heavier-duty commercial-grade trucks. These pickups compete against the best-selling Ford F-Series and Chevrolet Silverado, and have won acclaim for their top-level cabin design and technology and uncommonly smooth ride quality. RAMs also share the storied Hemi V8 engine with their former Dodge brand, while torquey, fuel-efficient diesels are also available.

The RAM pickups start with a base Tradesman work-truck model, then work their way up through trims that typically include Big Horn, Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, and Limited. There are also two off-road-focused models: the RAM 1500 Rebel and the RAM 2500 Power Wagon.

Two commercial work vans round out the RAM lineup: the compact ProMaster City and the full-size ProMaster. Both were originally designed as Fiats for the European market.
